Personal Coaching Program Information
You can use this this page to print out the questions I need to set up your initial personal coaching program, then use the form to send them to me.
If you prefer sending an email instead of my online form, you can cut and paste these questions into an email with your answers.
Not all of these questions will have to be answered in their entirety for instance you may not know what your exact goals are yet and maybe you don't have any specific races or tours in mind right now. That's OK. I just need what applies to you.

Life Priorities (i.e. family, job, racing, etc)
The beginning and end of your racing or touring season so I know how long to program your off season.
The city and country you live in so I can have an idea about the weather in your area
Off Season: Whether you prefer training on the bike, cross training, or a combination of the two (for off season only.) If you want cross training, you must provide me with a list of the events you can do on a regular basis, how long is the longest you normally do them in miles, kilometers, laps, or time and on which days you can do these events if there are any restrictions.
A detailed weekly training program showing the miles you ride and how you ride for each of the seven-week days for your current training. I do not need your training calendar for a month or more.
A list of the events you have been doing, their distance, and how well you did
Your goals in cycling. You may just be having fun and want to improve your racing or touring or you may want to go pro. If you have two or more goals (you shouldn't have more than two or three since having fun is assumed), prioritize them so I know which is most important to you.
If you are having any physical problems, are tired, have trouble sleeping and such. Do you have any medical problems I need to know about?
For on season programs, send me your racing schedule with your races in chronological order. Prioritize the events showing your 3 most important events with an *, your next 6 most important events with a #, and the rest of your schedule. I need to know the name of the event, race type (road, track, MTB, cross, and triathlon), Event type (i.e. road, criterium, TT, or stage race), distance, and dates.
Note: You'll need to let me know about any training rides or
races, which might be accessible to you during the week such as on
Tuesdays and Thursdays. I need to know the distance, day of the
week, and whether the rides tend to be flat or hilly. Also let me
know how hard and aggressively the rides tend to be.
Remember that the best days for intensity work are Sunday, Tuesday,
Thursday - OR - Saturday, Monday, Wednesday -OR - Sunday, Wednesday,
Friday.
Training rides need to compliment your best
weekend day for long miles.
